With the Domain move last week, I missed Seven Quick Takes. The past seven days have been full of scary, happy, and exciting things. This week the Caswell household has been Growin’ up in the Lord for sure.

Obviously, in the past week, my blog moved to a new home. I’m still working out some technical things because I’m coding, SEO, and other blogging jargon buzzwords challenged. I write because I enjoy it and because I feel I have something to say. Ideally, I would like to afford to pay someone to handle the other stuff, but that’s not my reality right now. Google is my go-to resource and I’m relying so much on my many blogger friends that I meet through social networking and link-ups.

Sunday after church service, after sitting down at the restaurant, I turned to ask Madilynn what she wanted to drink only to see a swollen face. We later found out the snack in children’s church was nutter butter crackers. She apparently has one of her brother’s allergies after all. We are now 100% peanut free in this house (you can read the whole story here).

I added guest blogger to my writer’s resume. You can read those posts here and here.

The kids and I attended Vacation Bible School. Madilynn wasn’t old enough for the Bible classes, but since I helped with one of the classes, she was able to go and play with some other little ones during that time. This year’s theme was Team P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E. The kids were secret agents fighting against the agents of S.E.R.P.E.N.T. They learned that with God, all things are possible.

Madilynn’s silly faces are at least partly steroid induced from her allergy problem earlier in the week.

VBS used to take a whole week. Three days is just enough time for Dietrich to get comfortable with his peers and participating in the singing. On the other hand, the grown-ups are pretty tired after only three days.

I received an amazing review from one of my therapy clients. After some of the difficult things in the week, those positive words made my day.

My husband and I celebrated eight years of marriage this week. Someday, I really need to write our “how we met” story. In the meantime, you can read my anniversary post.
