Wordy Wednesday

Among my friends, I’m “the word girl.” As we develop our ministry, I tweak the wording in our invitations and graphics. One of my gifts is painting a picture with words. Often, I am able to do this when others struggle with finding the right words. 

The right words at the right time can be magical. Words have the power to build up or tear down, to encourage or defeat, to give life and hope, or cause devastation. 

As Madilynn and I listen to books in the car, my love for words and stories grows. Since we are listening to classic literature, we experience history and moral lessons that remain applicable across time. The vibrant characters remind us of our own personality traits. The words come to life, evoking deep emotions and teaching valuable lessons. 

Your story is your superpower and words are the tools needed to cast the spell. This blog has been one way to share my story and offer life-giving words. I pray my words inspire and encourage rather than ridicule and discourage my readers. I am also working on a bigger writing adventure to share more details of my story, in the form of a book. This first book will be a grief journey. Grief words are greatly needed in our world today.
