Hello! I’m Angie.

I’m a wife, mom, homeschooler, writer, Bible teacher, and lifelong student of God’s Word. I grew up as a preacher’s kid and spent years as a military wife. Teaching God’s Word has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I see the world through sermon illustration lenses. Ordinary experiences often send my thoughts to Scripture and become lessons about faith, family, relationships, and life.

In January 2026, I suddenly lost much of my vision from optic neuritis. Over the next few months, my vision gradually returned. Eventually, testing revealed the likely cause: MOGAD, a rare autoimmune disease.

I love to go places and do things, but I also enjoy discovering what has been sitting in my own backyard all along. Adventure does not have to take me far from home.

I am a word girl. I love words, the way they fit together, and the way the right ones can make us see something differently. Of all the words I love, God’s Word will always be my favorite.
